Any time someone requests to take photos in downtown Lancaster City, I am always all for it. For one, our house is just a 10 minute walk from the center of town (who else is a big fan of Lancaster Central Market?). Secondly, there are endless backdrops, colors and textures to be found in the city, along with great views from the tops of parking garages, historic architecture and greenery in the city parks (Musser Park being one of my favorites). So when Ethan requested to have his senior photos taken downtown, my response was, "absolutely, that sounds great!".
I got connected with Ethan via his dad who is a former colleague of mine at Franklin & Marshall College where I worked as staff photographer for a couple years. Ethan is a natural when it comes to being photographed and certainly model material. He will be headed to Columbia University in the fall.
I don't often get requests for senior sessions, but I certainly enjoy them! If you know of any seniors out there interested in having their senior portraits taken, I'd love it if you'd send them my way!
