Engagement Photography: Carmen and Daniel at Middle Creek Wildlife Refuge

This was my first time photographing at Middle Creek Wildlife Refuge in the spring. I've only ever been there to see the famed snow geese migration in the winter. It was a beautiful sunlit evening for Carmen and Daniel's engagement session. I got connected with them via the Best Wedding Showcase earlier this year and they were the lucky winners of my free engagement session giveaway. They wanted to do a picnic theme for their session and also incorporate their sweet dog who was a gift to Carmen and part of Daniel's proposal. These two could certainly pass for models and we had a lot of fun setting up their picnic and walking through the fields of yellow wildflowers to get these shots. I love Carmen's beautiful antique style engagement ring. I wish them the best as they prepare for their wedding this October!
