Jackie and Jim's fall wedding at the Historic Rock Ford Plantation was probably one of the most visually attractive and fun weddings I have photographed. Not only are Jackie and Jim top models, but they are absolutely wonderful to be around and easy going when it comes to being photographed. Since the two of them live in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Lancaster City, we decided to take some pictures of the two of them around their side of town while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour. I loved the chance to photograph a bride and groom in an urban setting, since that opportunity doesn't come up all too often. The colors and textures of the brick walls, murals and alleyways were the perfect contrast to their gorgeous-ness. These two make a perfect pair and it is obvious that they adore one another. Some of the creative details from the wedding included a flower crown station for guests and a photo backdrop that included a beautiful red couch and some hanging picture frames. Their wedding rings were also some of the most unique I have seen; they had one another's fingerprints imprinted on their wedding bands. Oh, and Jackie took a polaroid photo of the guests as she walked down the aisle, which was definitely a noteworthy moment. Many congratulations to these two! Thanks to Becky of Rebecca Shivers Photography for second shooting with me and to Laura of Lauxmont for the gorgeous florals!
