Mallory and Ken's December wedding at the Knowlton Mansion made me feel as though I was stepping back into the Victorian era for a moment. From the vintage furniture and decor to the ornate wall paper and beautiful woodwork and fireplaces, I would say that the style was reminiscent of the British drama Downton Abbey, which was sort of a hidden theme in the wedding details (if you are familiar with the show, check out the guest names on the red velvet board). Mallory's long sleeved lace covered gown with the illusion neckline and her waterfall bouquet of roses created a classic romantic vibe. This was the first time I photographed a December wedding and it happened to be a balmy 65 degrees outside, which was great for taking some outdoor photos before the ceremony. The gorgeous and stately Knowlton Mansion was decorated in full splendor for the holidays and I enjoyed using decorative elements from the various rooms to photograph the wedding details. We even got to venture down to their underground wine cellar for some photos! A year ago I photographed Mallory and Ken's engagement session at Longwood Gardens, which you can view here. I am also proud to report that the first photo below was featured on HuffPost Weddings!
